<heading-style-h6>Intermediate anchor: one matrix, four plates depending on the support.<heading-style-h6>
The IPACK holds the 12 mm lifeline cable in an MAC I aluminium matrix, clamped by 4 M10 bolts tightened to 50 Nm. Only the stainless steel plate changes to suit the support: rock bolt, open rung, Raumer bar or tree.
All four versions offer the same strength: working load 20 kN, breaking load 40 kN. Their weight ranges from 0.41 to 0.51 kg.
<heading-style-h3>IPACK 80 — on rock bolt<heading-style-h3>

INOX 80 plate. To create intermediate points directly in the rock. Weight: 0.51 kg.
Installation
1. Check the condition of the anchor support and the cable.
2. Install a 12 or 14 mm stainless steel rock bolt, 125 to 180 mm long, in sound rock. Chemical anchoring may be needed if the rock quality is not satisfactory.
3. Position the 12 mm cable inside the aluminium matrix using the 4 M10 bolts, then tighten to 50 Nm.
<heading-style-h3>IPACK 4 80 — on open rung<heading-style-h3>

INOX 4 80 plate. For installation on any type of open rung. A spacer is available for some rung models. Weight: 0.50 kg.
Installation
1. Check the condition of the anchor support and the cable.
2. Fit 2 A4 stainless steel bolts with Nylstop nuts on the open rung. Depending on the rung model, fit a 6 mm stainless steel mounting spacer so that the rope can pass between the IPACK and the rung.
3. Position the 12 mm cable inside the aluminium matrix using the 4 M10 bolts, then tighten to 50 Nm.
<heading-style-h3>IPACK SINGLE — on Raumer bar<heading-style-h3>

INOX SINGLE plate. For equipping intermediate points on a Raumer bar. Weight: 0.41 kg.
Installation
1. Check the condition of the anchor support and the cable.
2. Fit 2 A4 stainless steel bolts on the Raumer bar.
3. Position the 12 mm cable inside the aluminium matrix using the 4 M10 bolts, then tighten to 50 Nm.
<heading-style-h3>IPACK SANGLES — on tree<heading-style-h3>

INOX SANGLE plate. To control the cable between two plates in natural settings: the IPACK keeps the cable from rubbing against the tree. Weight: 0.46 kg.
Installation
1. Check the condition of the anchor support and the cable.
2. Fit the strap on the plate and around the tree. The strap can be up to 35 mm wide.
3. Position the 12 mm cable inside the aluminium matrix using the 4 M10 bolts, then tighten to 50 Nm.
<heading-style-h3>Installation advice<heading-style-h3>
The hook must always be able to pass freely between the support and the IPACK: check that it passes after installation. Cable loops can be made to avoid direct impact between the connectors and the IPACK.
The service life of the equipment depends on the quality of the support and the environment. It may be shorter in certain environments (snow, ice, rockfall…).
A minimum inspection every 12 months is required.
